I’m gonna change from Blogger to Wordpress
I’m bummed, its a brand new blog I’ve started but already people have been tellin’ me to get a new one on wordpress with my own domain name so I guess I’m gonna have to do it, you should read my thread over at digital point to see what people say about being on blogger.
So I’m gonna have to move my posts over once I get it all sorted out, then I suppose I’m gonna have to do all my technorati and shite all over again but wtf eh, it needs to be done so they say.
But what do I do about my feedburner, I’ve already got three readers and I don’t want to lose you all so quick, well you’ll have to change your readers I suppose unless I can get the folks at feedburner to change my blog address. Anyway, sorry about the boring post, I’ll go and get my domain now, just don’t know wheres best, someone on digital point said to get godaddy and another guy said namecheap, screw it, why do things have to be so difficult.
I just registered mattmetrodude.com now I have to wait for the email about the host account before I can get this done

I have very much enjoyed wordpress as blogging software. It is even better when you are not on wordpress.com. by owning your domain and “space” you get to use plugins that you want to use and advertise what you would like. Also I feel that it is easier to leave comments, i have never liked the way that blogger does comments.

It shouldn’t be hard at all to change your url in feedburner. Just log into your profile, your blogs and change it — voila!
Also, importing your posts and comments from blogger to wordpress is not hard either, so no loss of past posts, etc.
Good luck! You’ll never be sorry you made this choice once you get past this initial move.
